Very relaxing small cabin! Great for 2 or 3 people! Very nice porch swing and a wonderful hot tub! Grill on back porch! Tree top views! We WILL stay there again! Only about 4 miles from everything!

The cabin is a cute, rustic gem with all the modern amenities! My dog, Mako, and I stayed here for five days at the beginning of August, 2018. The cabin has everything you need for a fun stay and is located close to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Smoky mountain national park. The cabin is high on the mountain and has amazing views, it also feels very secluded. (I was traveling alone, so this was a “bit” of a concern until I realized that there were neighbors close by if I had an emergency.) I have to admit, I’m a bit of a wimp, and the drive up to the cabin took me a couple of times to get used to! Remember, in order to have mountain top views, you have to get to the top of a mountain! My Ford Escape made it up the last bit of angled road ok, but I wouldn’t have wanted to do the drive with a rain or snow on the road! I absolutely loved the hot tub on the porch, what a great way to unwind from a day of exploring the area’s attractions. All in all, It was a wonderful stay in the woods. I enjoyed coffee and yoga outside on the porch and really loved the scenic drives close by. I would recommend this cabin and company to solos travelers, couples, and small families. The Spirit of the Wolf was perfect for us! It was my husband and I, and our grand-dog. Yes, you read that right, our grand-dog! The cabin was perfect for us. It was clean and had plenty of towels (which I was worried about since there is no w/d in this particular rental). I can tell you from the moment we walked in it felt as comfortable as my own home. It was cozy, intimate and private. Their are neighbors to either side, but you are unable to see each other with the tree growth in between. It was nice to sit on the swing in the morning and drink my coffee with a beautiful view of the mountains. They are even more gorgeous in the late afternoon. My booking experience online with GOD was very easy and stress free. Check in and check out as well! Pleasant experience all the way around! I very much enjoyed my first time in the Great Smoky Mountains and plan on returning next year with our family! Thank you to the owners of the cabin and Great Outdoor Rentals!
